I'm just wondering what you guys get..
Explain your current engine, trans, tires,if its highway/city driving. and your driving habbits( like a grandma or like you stole it)..
Also, your highest and lowest MPG.

I got a LS swap and I'm courious to see what I'll be getting.

Thanks

I have a obd 1 jdm gsr in my 91 sedan with 185 65 R14 no power steering or ac. If i push it and drive like a grandpa, i can push 400 miles out of a full tank. On normal driving (reminder i have a gsr in my car) i drive a little harder than normal but i dont beat the crap out of it all the time, i usually get anywhere between 325 and 360 out of a full tank. I drive a mixture of city and highway. Im not positive on what size the tank is so until i get a definite answer on fuel tank size ill just go by miles per tank

49 mpg. 90 si with d15b2, 14" wheels,100% city driving, every bolt-on and obd-1. The Vitara 1.6 in it now barely makes 30 mpg.

d15b2, 4spd manual, short ram intake (stupid predecessors), 15" rims+low pro's. I'd say close to 50 city 50 hwy. My first manual tranny, which I'm sure makes a difference in the mpg area. Bought the car about a month ago (I've spent more time working on it than I have driving it) and, based on what my gauge and trip meter tell me, I'm getting about 26 mpg.

32mpg city/highway driving somewhat normal and around 27mpg if i'm constantly in boost. not sure of straight highway b/c i haven't been anywhere in a while. Usually get about 270 miles to a tank of gas, but i don't ever let it get too low...burned out a fuel pump last time i did that

91 DX sedan w/14" wheels
300whp turbo B18c1
S1 B16 trans w/ lsd
no cat & no O2

90 civic hatch, 16's 215's, lowered (about two inches), obd0 DOHC ZC, lightweight flywheel, stage 1 clutch, 91 si tranny, and 2.25 inch cat back, battery relocated, no power steering or A/C, intake. I get 40-42 mpg on country/back roads. Interstate is a different story since I'm constantly around the 3500 rpm range I know it's cut short a lot so I don't drive it if I don't have to. But on my ten gallon tank I can usually get 400 miles, on a good week I've gotten 420-430. I don't drive like a bat out of hell all the time but I do get down on it occasionally throughout the week. I'm one of those people that drives 5 miles over the speed limit and that's it. Depending on what vehicle, little bolt ons, and tranny you have, a LS can get around 35 mpg.

90 crx si b18b1 gsr trans 15" wheels lowered 1.5" stainless 2.5" from header back no cat. Avg 28-30 mpg bout 70/30 hwy/city. The hwy miles r interstate so runnin about 4k rpm at 80mph.

I want to put GSR gears for 1st through 4th and keep 5th as LS. So, I can say 30 mpg is average? I like it. Thanks for the input

Roughly 35 MPG over the last 9 months. Some days I drive like grandpa, some days I drive spirited, and I do a lot of autocrossing.

1990 Civic Sedan
Dunlop Star Specs in the summer, General altimax artics in the cold months.
Only other relevant mods are a K&N drop in filter and a catback exhaust.

1991 Crx Si, from 99k til i sold it with 226k, 39 mpg lifetime documented in records, stock car stock tire size.
1991 Civic Si, #2, only about 37.5 mpg stock at 99k. documented for only about 6k miles sold it.
1991 Civic Si #3, documented 39mpg documented from miles 56k til 70k
1991 CRX Si #4, documented 39-41 mpg still have it, documented from miles 0k til now at 39k
1991 Civic Si documented 39mpg for my first ownership of a 760mile highway drive
all cars stock motors and stock tire size. rims may differ have run som HX, some stock.
'the throw in a few others, i had a 94 VX with 90k on it and it would only get 36mpg when i drove it the same as ALL above cars....i didnt own it long, it was all hype and nothing in return.

not relevant as this thread is about 88-91 Civic/CRX/Wagovan and that thread is referring to 92-00 Civics

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/my-honda-statistics-study-2768469/

Did a little study on this for my high school stats project a few years back... I also did 92-00 Civics, but all the samples were from here on Honda-Tech, lots of modified/B swapped samples. Hope this helps a little.
