confusing kinds of weatherstrips
i've always wanted the all-black weatherstrips (is that what you call this part?). mine has chipped off and half of the chrome is showing.
upon looking at the nice sedans in the pic thread, i noticed that there's also a weatherstrip that is all-chrome. can someone clarify this? i don't want to order a weatherstrip just to have it arrive as the all-chrome
(the one encircled in yellow)
all-black
all-chrome

Re: confusing kinds of weatherstrips
From when I replaced all the stuff on the outside for my car years ago, I foun that the doors didn't have any black stip available.
The LX and EX were given chrome and that's it.
DX just has the door - no strip.
The front and back window you can get in black for the DX and chrome on LX and EX.

sorry for being a noob, guys but i should still scrape the rubber that is still in the strip, right? some parts have chipped off, and if i paint it without removing the unchipped parts, it wouldn't look good. am i still correct on this one? and what kind of black paint should i get? i haven't painted anything before *lol* i did paint but not like to make it look good though :D
