Clicking at idle..possitive not valves, what else?
So on my 89 civic si with a b18a1 i have some clicking you can hear at idle. I just adjusted the valves 2 weeks ago when i needed a new valve cover gasket. I redid them today just to make sure, the exhaust valves where perfect but the intakes where a little looser than the .004" optimal adjustment (where around .005" which is ok) so i redid them to .004". Started the car back up and still can hear it, so i looked around noticed my alternator belt had a loose thread touching the frame rail when rotating. So i took the belt off and started it to verify it was the issue but it still did it. It doesn't sound like it coming from the valve cover but more like near the fuel rail/injector to the alternator area. Could my injectors need a cleaning?

Injectors make a clicking noise and the noise is totally normal. Is the noise different from how the injectors have always sounded? Maybe they have always sounded like that and you didn't notice previously?
