The valve timing is good, and so is the ign timing. The fuel pump kicks on.

Are the sparkplug wires in the correct order?

yes the spark plug wires are in the correct locations, and the tps and map sensors are in the right locations. I also replaced the fuel filter recently.

what motor is it? When I put my d15b1 back together I lined up the timing marks and thought I had it right but it would just crank and crank and not start, so I had to screw with the timing till I got it right and the car finally started.

well if the timing is all good then I have no other ideas except for if the motor is getting fuel or if it is getting spark which you already said was good so or if the wiring may have some problems.

what injectors are you using do you still have the resistor box? do you smell raw fuel out the tailpipe when you try cranking it? if you dont try spraying some starter fluid in the intake, if it runs for a second you have a fuel/injector problem

I am using the resistor box with the obd0 injectors. I can smell raw fuel out the tailpipe, and I have tried using starter fluid, but nothing?

I did a Y8 mini-me swap back in may and I had the same problem. The head ended up being bad...I had no compression in one of the cylinders. I ended up having to get a different head and now it works great.

Are you sure the wiring was done correctly? You did say its getting spark right? if you tried starting fluid it should have fired, even if it just off right after, it should have ran long enough to burn up the starting fluid. I would check the timing again. thats where I would start. whats the year/trim level of the car it is in?

It is a 90 si hatch. The timing is correct, I have checked it atleast 5 times already. The wiring should be correct because I had a honda technician look over it after I put it togather. When I asked him why it wouldn't start he was stumped.

I tried my friends dizzy from his rex (he was running the same set up), and had the same results. I am using a conversion harness off of my friends rex.
