Civic stalling

Re: Civic stalling
I'm having about the same problem as you brother. My 91 hatch base has a dpfi d15. Has a high power msd ign system, header back exhaust with no cat (i bought it that way), and a cool air intake. If i try to run up over 3400 rpm it stalls out like i let off the gas and at about 3000 rpm i can give it gass again. Replaced the fuel filter and pump and still, same thing. Injectors, dizzy, pump and filter are good. SO WTF IS WRONG. I havent checked the TPS but have been told I have to take it in to get checked? ECU is throwing out 8 and 16, but dont think its right. Any help is greatly appriciated.

Re: Civic stalling
Will the first thing to do is make sure that the timing is set right. Then go from there may want to look into the codes that you r getting. They just don't show up for no reason.

Re: Civic stalling
I was having a similar problem, except mine would sputter and run like crap at low rpm, and then when I got on it and brought it up to speed it would be ok. My fix was a zc swap. Haven't had this much fun in the car yet.
