Default Civic SiR cluster, what have some of you done for Speedo in MPH

KPH may be all JDMish and all but MPH and Miles on Odometer would be nice. What options are there for MPH speedo in this cluster outside of looking for the ultra rare and expensive in England. Andy Speedo heads work out of other cars with the VSS intact. Already tried searches. Know how to wire it in but I want A MPH speedo.

why don't you stick with a USDM one then. find an ITR or GSR cluster.

But I can't believe everyone is usung KM speedometers. someone talked about a speedometer converter to change the KM to MPH but have no idea where I saw that to ask where they got it from.

More money basicly is why. But then if there is no alternative I can sell this one to offset the price. They bring a pretty penny on E-bay. This is an area that is new for me. Have run ZC for 2.5 years, Tach pegs before this even hits redline, and don't want a pillar mounted tach. that draws unwanted attention to the car, by cops and thieves.

what i would recommend to you is look to the UK for the companies that make the MPH gauge face conversions for their cars, and do it that way, try to contact a member here on HT about it

I'll bet thats not going to work becaus I think my speedo goes nowhere near 250KMh are thereabouts. IE 100 KMH is not corresponding to 70MPH or thereabouts. Looking at a photo Of the VT cluster.

1kmh= 1.6mph... the easiest way ive found to read them is to subtract the 0 off of the speed you are at and multiply the first number times 6... ie say you are going 40kmh... take the 0 off and multiply the 4 times 6 giving you 24... the actual speed would be 25 but you can see that it is fairly close... of course the faster you go the less accurate it is... what i would do is just memorize the usual speed limits in your area... you will get used to it

50 kph = 30
70 kph = 44 mph
100 kph = 60 mph
