Car jerking at low RPM why???
Ok i got a 1991 civic sedan ex and have an issue with my car. It will sometimes jerk at lower rpm. when im anywhere from 1,000-1,800 rpm and it sometimes drives me nuts. kinda like driving slow in second gear in parking lots or keeping the car in 2nd or 3rd gear while turning at low rpm the car will be jerking once i push on the gas to accelerate. After 2,000 rpm the car seems to run normal again. The car still runs strong and just passed smog yesterday. Completely stock motor.

is your check engine light on? flash the ecu so you can get your code or codes out. Mine did this when the MAP sensor wasnt plugged in and had a vacuum leak. Check those, mine did it from 1500 to about 1700 rpm.

Its the on the top right and has a 3 pin connector. the vacuum line goes to the rear of the intake manifold
