Nissan Sentra SE-R and Nissan 200SX SE-R they have SR20DE all you gotta do is slap on a turbocharger kit voila.

Thats the way it seems, the REF i spoke with said that there isnt really anything laid out in black and white...but he did say, DEPENDING ON THE REF, you could put an H or K in an ef, as long as you meet the obd requirement of each motor.

I guess anything obd2 (that did not have the same engine in obd1) is really hard to BAR since you have to add a bunch of additional components.

But i was told that if i did a JDM b18 (any type from integra), it would be referred to as an obd1 motor.

Another thing to remember, that most people forget, is that you have to have an obd1 catalytic converter if you're going GSR.

He did say that you CANNOT swap mini-mes or ls/b20/vtec.

Because a lot of the teenaged/early 20's kids think that having ~200hp is having a fast car.

I would love to build an H or K series in an EG. But i wouldnt use it for a daily, i'de boost it and go to the track for fun.

i got tired of all the BS ricers here in socal and the gay *** " mad tight JDM " craze going on, that contributed to me selling the rex. i'm sporting an auto sedan now.

Insurance ain't too bad. 120/month for both my ej8 and my bar'ed Rex w/3500 in parts. 27 w/1 speeding ticket in my coupe (80 in a 65).

I would love to do a k swap in my Rex but I doubt I'll ever do it, especially since they can be bar'ed now.

Yea, but what kinda coverage do you have?

My current sedans arent insured yet, since i dont drive em.

My last one was $45/month, BUT included the following.

-15/50/100, personal, property, other person.
-Theft
-Glass Coverage

zc dohc almost positive no because that motor was never offered in the states...i got kicked out of the east la ref station a couple years back because i had a zc dohc block...it would be nice though if you can bar them because those engines are nice

According to the San Bernardino REF, you can do any JDM engine except a crv b20. He said nothing is really written specifically per engine type.

On a DOHC ZC, can you use USDM emissions, IM/EM?

maybe from a d16a1 but then again that would make them older than the motor if it was a 90-91...then again the motor runs rich with a usdm pg7 and the pm7 is a jdm ecu...!!!
