a friend was saying hes heard of this happening because of intake manifold gaskets failing.

White smoke is water, or moisture in the pipe, and since your in florida and its been getting colder a cold start would do that, does this continue after driving for a while or does it go away?

Key words in previous post by OP - it "sputters and hesitates"...

Yes, this is a possibility (since obviously the intake port is right next to the coolant port).

honestly after adding up my reciepts that i have from JUST the b20 im already at $4162.54. thats not including converting the car to manual when it was a single slammer. i would say my 200 dollar car has me at almost 4500 dollars in 16 months. im so tired of it. I took the fouled plug to a few places and they all said i was burning coolant and i know that its true. ill see today i guess if its the intake.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. Next time, show me a better picture of the spark plug from a top view showing everything and I could have pin-pointed it better for you. At least I helped you get it on the right track though.
