my 89 si had 4 plugs on the intake manifold . now i know wich plug the TPS and location of the sensor as well as the but im lost on wich plug to use for the IACV, FITV(Fast Idle Thermo Valve) and the white one by the pcv valve. none of the right ups explain how to ID them as i have forgot which plug went where other than the TPS. and some help id'ing the old DPFI connectors so i can cut/hide the plugs for those.

Re: MPFI swap- plugs
So I have a red w/yellow stripe and a green w/white stripe plug going to a sensor on the driver side of intake manifold next to the hose that goes tovthe break booster. Then a blue w/yellow stripe and black w/ yellow stripe going to the iacv on the back next to the tps. ( I already got the tps finished easiest of the plugs to locate, also the old dpfi plugs are closed off.) Let me know please if I got those correct.

Re: MPFI swap- plugs
1st, what motor did you swap the original for? Or is this just a MPFI conversion?
Do you have the actual plugs still on them or just wires?
TPS is a 3-wire plug. (Passenger side of intake manifold)
IACV is a 2-wire plug. (Driver side, back, of intake manifold)
FITV is a 0-wire plug. (Coolant driven)
PCV valve is a 0-wire plug. (one way valve, vacuum driven)
Usually when you do a swap you take a motor out. In the Honda world, most of the plugs just fall into place when you put a new motor in.
I'm really confused on how to help you. Pictures would assist. If this is just a MPFI conversion, check this:

Hard to find a thread with pictures that still function.
Ben is still putting in work: http://www.ef-honda.com/ben/EFwiring.php
Hope that gets you started.

•There will be 3 plugs of the exact same type which are easily mixed up. These plugs are for the IACV (blk/yel and blu/yel), the IAT (little white sensor on the IM; orange/yel and grn/white), and for some DPFI sensor (blk/yel and orange). The plug with the blk/yel and orange wires is NOT used. You can cut it off or let hang or whatever.
Hope that gets you started.

Re: MPFI swap- plugs
When you take the harness off of the B2 and put it on the A6, nearly everything should just line up. The TPS and IACV need to be extended. The distributor plugs need a jumper to plug into each other, but everything else is in nearly the same spot.
