D16Z6 swap into EF - no start
So, my brothers 91 dx was running on 3 cylinders and he wanted some more power. We got a running z6 out of an Si eg and swapped it into his car. We ended up using the z6 harness (in hindsight not the easiest way, but we're mostly certain everything is wired correctly, incl MPFI). Theres fuel (at least to the rail) and the plugs have spark, but the car just refuses to start. Anybody have any insight?

No CEL? Despite your confidence in the wiring, I would start by going back through it and making sure you don't have something switched around. Or...dumb question, but could you have left something unplugged or the ECU fuse removed? I've had a no-start before and after a few minutes of panic realized I had the distributor unplugged.

Simple questions, but gotta ask....
1) Is the distributor installed correctly and mechanically timed?
2) Are all factory grounds in place and solid?
3) Pull the plugs. Are they seeing fuel?
4) Any blown fuses?
If you have fuel at the plugs are not getting at least a sputter on start attempts, you need to look at wiring and timing.
