you should see the ecu code:
xxxxx pr3 x01
or
xxxxx pw0 x51
Anything 50 or above in the last 2 numbers in the ecu code is automatic, anything below 50 is manual. Thats the way it is for PM6 and p28 ecus I know.
EDIT: xxxxx PM6 L09 (my old ecu) is for manual transmission.

for 88-91 ecu's(PM6, PR4, PW0, PR3, PM7)

ok, sorry to bring this back from the dead...but it's better than making a new thread.
here is my plan: 91 CRX Si w/JDM B16 *boosted for everyday driving/"power" when i want it* w/LSD...
what ecu would someone suggest/would i need? either stock honda or aftermarket (chipped)?
EDIT: OBD0 JDM B16...almost forgot :lol:
