i have skunk2 coilovers on my prelude and it rides pretty stiff. it has an occasional squeek here and there but not too bad I am happy with them. I have seen a lot of people using Tein Full Coilovers on EFs and there suspension being pretty stiff also. I have dropped it 3 inches and it still ridez okay.

They sat high even though fully lowered..?? I know my coilover sleeves sit high fully lowered but thets because of the cups on the shocks..These shocks have no cups..Unless they look different then the picture???

How are the shocks that come with them..? Do they feel tight or bouncy?

yeah they did...when he had them fully slammed there was still a good two fingers of space between the top of the tire and the fender....the car sat lower with his old neuspeed...(which i got on my car now)...i still like the feel of the neuspeeds on the tokiko whites than his sk2 coils

They're decent (deffinately worth $600 though) and nice and tight..Handle pretty good,,But if I had to do it again I would have chosen something different and with an adjustable damper..

My friend Joseph at skunk2 said that they are a stiffer setup. They are not adjustable so they are setup pretty stiff. For the money its a good deal if you dont mind riding rough. I can get a really good deal on those coilovers and I almost thought about getting them. I can get them for under 500 shipped! Not bad huh?

Yeah they definately are stiff..Very stiff..But I like it like that so know biggie..And and it seems like the shock handles the spring very well..And they can be "dumped" if you're into that sort of thing..But if you can get it for that price you say, go for it..

Did you go for it and purchase a set, Mr. Speaker? How are you liking them so far?

I've got $600 to spend right now on suspension, and considering the skunk2 full coilovers. How adjustable is the ride height? Does it sit high when set to the lowest setting like was mentioned earlier?

Yeah I bought them a couple months ago..

They are very stiff,,But no bouncy bullshit..Handles better then my oldsetup which was gr-2's with 450/500 springs..,,And it seems like the sring is matched well with the shock..They can dump the car pretty low,,I never put them all the way down though,,And I dont plan to,,But the car is about 2.5" lower then stock and there's still alot of threads left..Overall they're decent,,Worth the money,,But we'll see how they last after a while before I go prasing them....If I had to do it again though I would have gotten something with adjustable dampers..

Yeah. 2.5" is more than enough, haha I'm not trying to dump the car, haha.

I'm not sure what I want to do, the car is my beater and I'm looking for a decent setup for a good price. Something that I won't want to completely redo later, that will last me.

Yeah,,well as long as you dont mind a real stiff ride they're good for you..Thankfully I have no girlfriend,,because I know she'd be btiching and moaning all the damn time..Between those coilovers, the solid mounts, uerathane bushings, and the 6 puck clutch ,,Its hard ..
