how to "install eagle rods in a dohc zc??

how to "install eagle rods in a dohc zc??
im tryin to build my dohc zc.....and today my eagle rod's came....but they are a solid piece, im not sure how to put them on the crank. stock rods have removeable caps, but the eagle rod's do not....can someone help me??

Just get a cutting torch and try to make a straight line about where you think they caps would be.
When you put em on the crank, weld em back up nice and smooth so they fit tight on the crank.
Poof, no worries after that

Yes, im joking.
The rods have caps. They are very well made, and probably just have a very tight seam.
Dont pry with anything metal. Just take the bolts off and gently work the caps off.

if they dont have caps then they sent you some rods that were not finished bro.......

If you can't figure out how to get the end caps off rods....you sure as hell shouldn't be building your own engine.

qft typically means "quoted for truth". As stated above, your lack of knowledge on the subject (no offense) tends to alarm some of us who thought you were building it alone.
As you have cleared this up, then its no problem
Good luck with your build. Go slow, and be deliberate. Dont buy **** you dont need. Measure twice, cut once young padwan.

First, other than having all the required tools... you should have a detailed service manual or spend time on the internet finding everything to need to learn. Head over to your local book store or library and start studying.

Thats how I got my caps off. Just took the rods outside and banged them on concrete until they finally gave up. ******* Rods.

um, i wouldnt beat my new manley rods (500 bucks) on concrete, i used a mallet and a block of wood, much safer for your rod
