1991 DX swap from D15b2 to D16a6 help!
Hey guys, my stock D15's valves pooped out on me and I was thinking I would just replace the engine and trans with a D16a6 and SI trans. I've been doing a ton of research for the past week and it doesn't look like I can find any information on this specific swap. Most people go for a Vtec ZC or the B16, which I don't really need, nor do I have the extra money for.
My friend says this would be one of the most simple swaps out there.
I know that both the D15b2 and the D16a6 engines are OBD zero (unless I'm wrong, please correct me) so would the wiring match up fairly simply?
My only concern is going from DPFI to MPFI. If I bought the engine, wouldn't it come with all of the wiring necessary?
What do you think is going to be the most difficult part?
I apologize for the ranting/questions, this is my first swap. I love my new used Honda and I want it to keep on going!

Wiring is the most difficult. That being said, it's actually not very hard in retrospec. Everything else should just drop right in.
You will want to use your cars stock wiring harness unless you want to pull the dash and put in a Si cabin harness as well as the engine harness because the cabin plugs WILL NOT MATCH the Si engine harness.
Here is a site on a very nice how to for the wiring.

So you're saying if I wanted to use the SI instrument cluster with my DX, I would have to upgrade my cabin harness?
I think this answers that, but I'm not sure.

MPFI conversion and that's it. For the cluster, as long as you get the correct one for your car it should just be plug and play.
