91 crx si battery drain
so my car has been draining my battery ive gotten it check they say the battery is good.. so im tired of the crap
any one know whats the best battery for a crx lol i give up on duralast...
second i noticed the relay that goes mounted on top of the headlight frame was hanging around and has like 3 wires that are cut and 1 that is hooked up to my corner light. shocked when i found that...
does any one have a diagram on how to put these wires back to normal or does the honda dealer sell the harness new?

You could put a quick disconnect on your battery and disconnect any time the car sits for a while. I had a similar problem with my battery draining.
Its ghetto but it will get you through until you straighten out your short

optima batteries are pretty popular. I'd see if your car still drains the battery even with a new one before you go spending money on harnesses and such.

Yeah it won't matter how good a battery u have if there's a short. It will still drain out. I'm telling u quick disconnect on ur battery lol. At least till u find ur short. It works so good, it's been a temporary permanent fix for me for a while now.

I had nothing but problems with Optima in a healthy car.
I have an '88 Prelude with a similar issue, but it's gotten so bad that the lights will flash on and off, sort of pulsate, when the car is running. Everything power operated pulses at the same beat (climate control, throttle response, lights, power windows).
If I leave the car sitting a couple days with the battery connected, it will drain the battery.
I know my car has a bad voltage regulator. This is number 3 or 4 now (same number for batteries btw). I just haven't found the ground issue (which is what I was told it likely is) that is causing the car to eat voltage regulators and batteries.

I was about to say it is the door switch that is usually the culprit.
Over time they rust out and no longer work.
Order new ones or use steel wool to clean up and coat with contact cleaner.
