Hello, I have a 1991 Honda Civic Si that I need some advice for. I am trying to install the drivers side window regulator, and am having problems. I threw the old regualtor away years ago, and rigged my window up until now. So I am missing the retainer clips that hold the window to the regulator and have no idea where to find them. I bought some universal retainers from O'reillys, but I don't think they're going to work. Mainly because I don't understand how to attach the clip to the left side of the regulator. I already screwed the "universal" retainer to the right side as you can see, but I don't know what to do about the other missing clips. Anyone know how I can rig it up, or where I can buy new retainers?

why cant you get the other clip on?
on those universol ones im pretty sure that a little trimming is nessesary

but then again why didnt you go the junkyard route?
those clips dont have to be from a ef civic
you can get them from the eg and ek modals also

However those regulators are for the sedan. Its going to bind because the hatch and crx has a bend in one of the arms whereas the sedan arm doesn't. You *can* get it to sort of work but it doesn't work like it should which is really frustrating.
