I looked at the ecu codes on the car and all it does is blink once wait a second or two blink again.........over and over. The car just starts runs for a second then shuts off, but if you give it gas it struggles but runs. anyhelp?? thanks

Are you sure this is carb or is it single injector that looks like a carb?

dude honestly i have no idea im going to buy the car for 500 if its something i can fix with no problem. I guess i should have said that.... it looks the exact same as my buddies 89-91 hatch i was actualy told today that it was pfi, programed fuel injected i though it was carbed..ops. Like i said the car turns over its just it wont stay running with out tapping the gas. I still cant find anything on the ecu code. I know how to read them just cant find a page.

Im only going to buy it if its something simple and not like the timing being off.....etc because i have a 97 200sx that i want to get on the road but i could use the cheap insurance/ no inspection thing since im in school and my refund check is buying it
