Everything I have is up for sale to anyone interested. Needs axles, shift linkage, radiator, and a few other odd bits to be a runner. Closing out this chapter once and for all.

Sure has been, life just took me on a completely different path than where I thought I'd wind up back when this thread was begun. It was a blast to build and drive but I know I'll never put it back on the road myself.
Got the Y8 dropped in her today, just bolted in, but it's likely to be the last time I turn a wrench on it. Sat the hood back in place and pushed it a little more forward in the garage.

Still have to convert the motor to OBD1, need OBD1 ECU, try to use the harness that's in it or buy a new one (don't want to spend the $$$ and I'm sure the current/modded one will have issues), needs shift linkage, radiator and fan, along with needing all bushings replaced, brake work, new tires....... just done fuxing with it.
This is true, I'm actually looking to replace it with a 1st gen LS400
Yeah, it's bittersweet, but I'm done with builds for the time being, and tiny rolling coffins altogether. If I scoop an LS400 it'll be something I can have fun with but that wouldn't be a total deathtrap, meaning I could load the fam up in it if needed and not worry as much.

My last update to this thread right here. Bittersweet to see Sarah go but it was time to close this Era out.
Thanks to anyone still around who helped me make this car happen, and to anyone who enjoyed this thread. It's been real

It was
Where I'm at I just couldn't see this car getting used as anything more than a weekend cruiser, and even then I'd think twice before putting my family in it. Picking up a 94 LS400 to play with for a while, it's old but at least it's a tank, and much more family friendly.
