1991 Honda Civic Si Hatchback 1.6 moonroof seal
1991 Honda Civic Si 1.6L Hatchback
I have a leaky moonroof that I need to fix.
I have a brand new Genuine Honda seal with part#70080-SH3-A01ZB that I purchased years ago.
I noticed that the seal is long and not a perfect fit. I guess I was expecting a perfect fit seal that would install more like a valve cover gasket. The seal has two ends.
Do I have to remove my moon roof to install?
Do I need some type of sealer?
Please advise

If they are clogged up that could cause water build up in the sunroof pan and when you accelerate or hit the brakes it will dump out all over you😠

I also found out if the seal around the antenna is bad that will cause water to spill out onto the driver side floor as well...I just disassembled the antenna and traced the old seal onto a rubber gasket material and it fixed it perfectly
