I am a bit confused. I am getting a code 16, so before i spend $$$ on new injectors, i took a few from a couple of honda 1.5s from the boneyard.

Am i missing something, or do these cars have only 2 injectors instead of 4?.
I was looking but only saw a top and bottom injector.
If my assumption is correct, what would be the most efficient way to check which 1 or both are bad?. Thank you.
I am new to driving a Honda, but i figured a 4 cylinder has 4 injectors.
The car again is a 1991 civic lx sedan, automatic trans.

called DPFI (dual point fuel injection) Other models have 4 injectorz (called MPFI-Multi point fuel injection) Take time to read the FAQ stickied @ top of this forum and it covers all of this... (including how to perform mpfi swap)

Having check the sticky, i actually couldn't find injector removal instructions. I've got the little metal harness off, and they just won't pull out....suggestions? I thought i'd de-pressurized the system by disconnected the fuel line POST filter..

they should just pull right out

I think the fact that they aren't coming out is telling me that the o-rings are displaced and making it harder to pull.

The old rubber gets stiff. If you've pulled the two screws and the small metal plate that goes around the electrical connection on the injectors, just keep pulling harder, they will come out.

i'm literally pulling as hard as a man can! i might break the plastic wear the wire joins...

I've had them so tight before I had to remove the throttle body from the intake manifold and use a dowel and hammer to lightly tap from the front end to get them moving.
