Default 1990 CRX Code 10 Help

Hi guys I'm new here but not that new to Hondas.

Just picked up a 90' CRX with a d15b and need to get it smoged. The car was originally throwing codes 1, 10, and 14. I replaced the o2 sensor, cleaned out the IACV, and installed a new autozone Intake Air Temp Sensor. Now it's only throwing code 10 but I don't get why as I its a new temp sensor. If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

First, look for bad wires/connectors. If that isn't it, then try an OEM sensor, sometimes these Hondas are finicky like that.

Today I re-installed the OEM Air Temp and it's still throwing the code. Would you suggest to cut open the wiring harness loom to see if there are any breaks in the wiring?

NOOOOO!!! Buy a new OEM MAF or...

1. Get out your multimeter and wire diagrams.

2. Disconnect negative battery cable.

3. Disconnect the MAF connector

4. Using the wire diagram find the other end of each of those wires and test for continuity (Ohms) by putting a lead from the multimeter on each end of the wire.

If it is a wire, just run a new one using the same diameter wire.

probably has the wrong connector plugged into the IAT sensor - should be a white 2-wire connector with red with yellow stripe and green with white stripe wires

It initially was switched around with the IACV plug as it was throwing code 14 as will in the beginning. Switched plugs and code 10 is still showing up while 14 is gone.

does the connector currently plugged in have a red with yellow stripe wire and a green with white stripe wire? if it was originally DPFI, the harness should have a connector that looks just like the one for the IAT but has 1 orange wire and 1 black/yellow wire - this connector should go nowhere - if it was originally the Si model, it will also have a connector that looks just like the IAT connector - it has 1 blue wire and 1 black/yellow wire

These Honda's don't have MAFs.
