Is that with preload set on them? Or is that with the bottom collar body all the way and the spring collars all the way down?

i have a feeling they'll never fix the problem for these coilovers
they MAY fix it for the coilvovers with adj. dampening

You didn't reuse the stock shock dust covers did you?? That will cause that.

Clean car, didn't you have a red hatch a couple months ago?

I wouldn't be satisfied with that drop either. Maybe it's because I'm used to looking at mine, but what's that like a 1" drop? At least it handles well.

Gant 05-02-2005 04:40 PM

looks good but for the money spent on those i would want it to go a little bit lower

The drop doesnt look too bad... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif maybe a little lower would be nicer.. i was wondering if the omni's do this to eg's too cuz i was planning on gettin it for my hatch. One last thing...where did u get them from and how much? thanks

What's the specs on those wheels/tires? I'm trying to scale this in my head, and it would make a big difference to learn those are 14" with moderate profile tires....

They look good to me and it handles great so what's the problem? Are we honda folks still not over the 'lower the better' ricer days? How many REAL sport cars tuck their tires anyways?

Well for us ED(for all the haters)/EF's without a camber kit. Lower is better to get more camber out of the front. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif But not so low that the upper arm slams into the body.

1RMDave 05-03-2005 04:06 PM

car looks great to me. You guys want your cars scrapping and smashing into the ground?

JesseCRX 05-03-2005 04:15 PM

Re: (1RMDave)

I agree. The drop looks very nice and conservative.

Slammed may look nice but its not good for daily driving. Potholes are like snipers and when they hit you'll be glad you have your ride that height

Re: (Rob.)

Looks like a nice drop to me. Maybe an extra half inch and it would be perfect. Besides if you went too much lower you'd be scraping up your mudflaps.

dam yo your ef is so so clean, i thought i had the cleanest stock ef
i have a teal color ef. so how is those omni coilovers?

Re: 1990 Civic Si (Rob.)

I don't see how new lower collars will make a difference. If the shock itself is what the problem is. Its to long https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif I guess we'll see....Do you know if we will be able to exchange ours for the new design(if it does work) or will we have to buy new ones https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emdgust.gif
