Undecided on the exact Intake and throttle body. As far as the header goes I have two options. One is a Skunk2 Alpha Header and the other is a vintage Mugen ZC header to match the rest of the EF3 Mugen catback.

I literally can't believe you got TOO to build you a head. I was jealous of this build from the start but this literally pushed me over the edge. lol.
Amazing build. Amazing sourcing skills. Amazing thread. Thanks for sharing with us.

Yes you are correct with ports being positioned different between the SOHC and the DOHC ZC. This header is actually compatible with both. I anticipated having to modify the Mugen header so I created a stencle of the exact port shape and size on my head and paired it up to the header to see what needed to be modified. Turns out the bottom port is an exact match and the rest of the ports match up OK with slightly more room on the header side (no blockage). I then compared the template to the Skunk2 header and the skunk2 is obviously bigger in every way which is not necessarily great. The header size is too big for even super hogged out ports IMO but it does have a 2.5" collector. Dyno will tell the difference between the two.
