if you plan on doing a swap you should really research on the different engines eligible for you chassis, the b16a is a great swap choice for you ef, its the easiest to wire up and is still pretty quick for 160hp, if you plan going any further but yet you wanna stay simple i would recommend a obd1 gsr with a cable b16a tranny, youll deff like the outcome
do your research and youll find all your answers

a few questions:
1) your budget.
2) DD?? Track only? Auto-x?
3) boost or n/a
like stated B16 swaps are great but getting more expensive to find in good shape. If i was swapping it for a daily driver I would just swap in a B18A/B and call it a day!

You might be able to come up on a engine/ tranny combe for an LS engine for around 900 then get some swap mounts for around 200 and a DA ecu 50-100 ad a header 60 bux an injector resistor 30 and some elbow grease. might have enough left over for a bag of chips and some pepsi.
