Default 92-95 DX head on a6 block?

I was just given a 4dr ex w/ a blown timing belt and bent valves. The block is ok, however. I have a 92-95 DX head and was wondering what issues I would have if I were to put it on? I plan on putting new rings, new bearings and a 1 layer head gasket while the head is off. I know I will have to use the OBD-0 Intake manifold, but will the dizzy work? Thanks for the help!

no issues, just bolt it on. A6 dizzy should bolt up, but i've never tried. I've got an old A6 dizzy and a B7 dizzy in the garage. i guess i could find out for you.

oh yeah, the single layer Y8 ghetto head gasket =
I used copper spray with no problem.

Congrats on the EX. they're cool cars, not too many made. I found an auto one the other day, w/ PS9 ECU...
