Some questions about steel wheels on a Honda Element
Hey guys. New to this forum, I've posted over on the element owners club forums. Wanted to pick the brains of some of the owners here!
I have a 2008 EX. I want to switch out the alloy wheels with steel wheels. I'm fine buying new ones, but could save a lot if I bought some locally.
There are a few set of Honda 16 x 6.5 wheels near me for cheap. Curious if I can use them or if I need to get Element specific wheels.
The ones I'm specifically looking at are 16 x 6.5
2011 Honda Accord. 16" offset 114.3 (115) x 5
What does this mean? What do the offsets mean? Can I use Accord rims? Can I use rims with this offset?
With rims from smaller cars like this is there an issue with weight and the Element being heavier?
Thanks!

I think the bolt patterns are mostly the same on modern Hondas, but the offset and spacing can vary. You can look up and compare OEM wheel and tire sizes somewhere like https://www.wheel-size.com/. It will allow you to check clearance for the components and fenders.
