OBD1 2000 CRV with A/C Fan Issues
Hi fellas!
My 2000 CRV manual is now converted to OBD1 tuned on a chipped P28.
Once i turn on the a/c, the condenser fan and radiator fan wont turn on with it as it normally does with the original obd2b ecu.
I read somewhere that a guy fixed his by wiring A12 FANC to A15 ACC and put a diode in between them. He said the diode is important coz without it, when the ect turns the fan on, the a/c compressor will also engage even if you're not using a/c.
I can try this approach but i don't have any idea of what value of diode to use. Plus i understand diodes have to be wired a specific way coz of polarity? So im kinda skeptical about this approach. Is there a different way to do the wiring on this? Or if someone could please suggest the right diode value if it's ultimately the best thing to do anyway...
Much love to you all!! Sorry if i might have reposted this.
