Honda CRV help.

I have a 2000 Honda crv awd automatic and my question is would it be possible to convert the cvr to fwd or would it be expensive.

Re: Honda CRV help.

I just finished a swap today where I put a 2wd transmission into my 4wd 05 CRV; I would think since my "newer" model has no computers for the 4wd system, your model shouldn't either. The 4wd system is all mechanical and has no computers involved. If you want to go as far as I did, it isn't hard and you can delete a lot of extra weight. If not, you will be ok with removing the driveshaft and rear end. If you can find or make a block plate for the PTU, then you can go as far as remove that too.
