Hello,

I just bought this CRV with 249.000KM
Mostly it will be a car to go to the beach and ride with the dogs in the back.

Has some problems to solve:
The Driver window does not open, but the previous owner says that in certain positions of the door it worked.
The left mirror can not be adjusted.
The central locking does not work, just like the remote control
(I think is not electric power in the driver door)
The clock does not work.
Two rim centers are missing.
An engine gasket needs to be replaced.
Some rust that needs to be treated.
The headlight sprinklers does not work.
One missing speaker in the driver door.
And other little things that need to be solved

And by the way sorry my English is not the best, but I think we can understand each other!

It sounds like there might be a crushed wire(s) probably between the door and body.

You take really good pictures, lots of detail -- and your car looks great. What country are you in? I've never heard of headlight sprinklers -- I seriously thought you were joking haha.

I'm from Portugal. All the crv's here have the headlight washers its very common. For a car with 20 years is not bad but has a bit more rust than I would like.

Now some pictures of the work I've done in the last days.

First some cleanings:

After cleaning I started by opening the door to see whats going on. Nothing to point out except a problem solved by the old owner with two screws but then I confirmed that the problem came from the connection between the door and the car.

I'll try to fix it in the next few days and hope it solves some problems.

I already tried to fix the clock, but there is a minuscule component loose, I do not know if there is a solution.

And yesterday was the day to change the oil and filter and the coolant

I already have the Honda Pump Fluid II for the rear differential, I will change as soon as possible.

I do not know what this piece is, but yesterday I noticed that it was missing a screw, it is already replaced.

And I think the dogs liked it!

When there is some progress I write.

Today it is over 40ºC and I realized that the air condition works well for the feet, but not so well up, does anyone know what could be?
With the clock, is it possible to do something?
I also detected that the radio does not memorize channels. Every time I turn the car off, you have to tune in again. Some power supply is failing, I think. Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance!

Great work! For the clock, can you solder the loose piece back on? I did a small solder job on my 2001 CRV and the clock works again.

The radio sounds like it may be loosing power, which may be the reason why it does not keep your presets. Check the wiring for the radio to make sure it is installed correctly and there are no loose wires.
