2006 Honda CRV AUX button on Stereo...
I want to hook up satelite radio or another aux device to my wifes 2006 Honda CRV. There is a button on the deck that says "CD/AUX"
I don't see any AUX hookup like I do in my 2008 Element where it has a 1/8" female stereo plug.
Is there some kind
of hookup at the back of the stereo? I recall the USA models (this one is from Canada) having only the CD button...not CD/AUX
Help is appreciated :-)

OP if that is your head unit, I say the best way to find out is to take it out and look at the back of it. Or do more googling

Thanks guys.
I'm fairly certain the USA models don't have this option...hoping someone can verify?
How do I pull the deck?
Its a 2006 with under 60,000 miles...meaning its not even broken in yet! I love this thing :-)

i believe that was for an optional 6 cd charger. Not sure if you can hook up something on the back tho. I would just get an aftermarket deck, they're cheap. You can get one with bluetooth and aux/usb for less than 100$ and just get the conversion harness and it will plug and play. First upgrade i did on my 05

Canada EX and EX-L models came with the CD/AUX button.
It can be used for an auxiliary device. In back of the audio unit, Connector B (14-P) is where an auxiliary wire harness would be plugged in. That port should be empty on a Canada model EX and EX-L.
On U.S EX and SE models, the button was labeled as CD/XM. On U.S. model EX and SE, this was an option to add XM radio as an accessory. U.S. EX and SE models came with the wire harness that ran to the left quarter panel to can be used to plug into the XM receiver (accessory).
Aftermarket has aux adapters that can plug into the Connector B 14 pin port.

This is an example of an aftermarket product that can be plugged into the 14-P port. There are likely other updated products that work and may even be less expensive.
