2000 Honda CRV shudders at 30 - 40 mph
I have been having issues with the computer or transmission going into economy mode at around 30 -40 mph. The rpms are too low so when you press the accelerator, the torque converter shudders. if you press the pedal harder, the throttle positioning sensor will down shift the transmission to a lower gear and it runs fine. if I run with the over drive off in that speed range the car does not shudder and it runs fine. How do I get the transmission to not go into economy mode too early? Is this a computer program change?
