08 CR V blowing warm air after charge & engine revs in park
Ok I really need some help here. I just bought an 08 honda CR V last week because my previous car was totaled (Not my fault, but I still seem to be paying through the nose for it). So since I bought it I found that the a/c wasn't working right, just blowing lukewarm & mildly cold air. Took it in yesterday for a charge & an oil change. The mechanic told me my compressor was fine, but that it hadn't ever been charged since it was made so it was low on refrigerant, which he then took care of. So today we took a road trip. The a/c blows cold for a little while, then stops, especially if it's on the low setting with the fan on high. I also noticed that when it was in park, the engine would click & rev in short intervals while idling. As I've already put a lot out, more than I have, I was hoping someone might be able to give me an idea as to what is going on. I bought a Honda with a clean carfax because Honda's are typically great vehicles. But right now I'm beginning to feel like I made a poor decision. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

CRVs of this era can have pretty bad A/C failures. A system shouldn't need to be recharged unless there is a leak. There may be a service bulletin that you can look into: https://www.crvownersclub.com/forums...2011crv-4.html
