Probably a dumb question here, but I recently picked up a 2001 CRV and have been looking for the service manual to make any repairs. All I can find for the first generation CRV is a '97-'00 Honda Service Manual. Why does this manual not include the '01 or is the 2000 manual identical to the 2001? For some reason every service manual I've come across doesn't include the 2001 year....strange.

I've tried to get the manual through Helms, but they don't seem to have any in stock and don't appear to be getting it anytime soon. I saw somewhere that this manual may be free, does anyone know a good place to get it (download it from)?

To be honest the manuals are pretty much useless. Just search online and you can find a tutorial with pictures 99% of the time that are a lot more useful. Most of the stuff for a crv interchanges with a civic/Teg.

Ok, thanks guys. Like I said though, it's strange the service manuals don't include the 2001 CRV.
