I don't know if you'll seriously see gains that high if the rest of your engine is stock. I had it one my Z6 and it felt a little more powerfull at the low end. But I will say that that is a good price for a cam and a cam-gear. The cam alone is $349, or atleast that's how much I paid for mine, so make the investment now, but don't install it until you upgrade the valvetrain and get it more gas...just a thought.

Do a search for "zex cam" or "59300." I'm assuming what he's selling is the 59300 and not 59100. If so, it's a pretty good cam for the D-series. You will need a cam gear, something to alter the fuel (like a SAFC), and a dyno to get the most out of it, though. Headwork helps, too.

I haven't read up on the ZEX camshafts, but I have a hard time believing it'll add 10-15 HP without tuning. But, if it's a good deal and in good condition, and you have the resources to use its full potential, go ahead and snag it.

10-15 w/o tuning is hard to believe, i agree with you there. it will give u like 8 or so w/o tuning and can be over 10 with tuning. also remember that other mods that u have will be accentuated with a cam. and headwork like p&p or milling and valvejobs will also help increase your gains. for the price it is still a good buy

Any cam gear will work, but there are some that are designed better than others. Most don't like AEM's 3-bolt design because there have been instances where it slipped while the engine was being tuned or run on the street, etc. I used the Skunk2 cam gear, which used something like 5 or 6 bolts to ensure no slipping. It was fairly cheap, too.
