Zex cam, LS throttle body, etc?
i am planning on getting the zex 59300 street/strip cam for my d16z6 this summer. i have been doing some research and have come across a few who have swapped in an LS throttle body as well. have any of you had any experience with this? is it a direct bolt-up to the stock location? also, would you recommend and upgraded valvetrain and apexi VAFC? i am planning on it because eventually i want to be able to get a few more revs out of the set-up (7800-7900 range max). if so, what is a good single cam vtec valvetrain upgrade? this will all be used with my current set-up of AEM cold air, apexi WS exhaust and soon to be comptech header. thanks for any help you guys can give me.

I personally think that you may not need to upgrade your valvetrain to achieve those kind of rpm's. Aslong as your cam makes power there, then go for it, rev limiter permitting. If I were you i would have someone program a custom chip for you. Not one that would advance timing too much, but will let your motor safely spin those rpm's. Ever check out endyn's site?
