Zenki forged lug nuts?
I am considering going with these lugs from http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.aspx?id=9833, but I have not really read any kind of reviews from HT members. Search function returned no results
Just looking for some feedback, these will be going on bronze C8's.
Secondly, should I get the 1.25 or 1.50 for 94-01 GSR front brakes.

Payn Technologies has some lugs very similar, if not the same, for much less(?). Call Matt at 248 362 0283 and tell him Jeff G. told you to call. (btw: ask for Harold Derriere ).

Will do (edit: the number for Payn Technologies has been changed to 248-649-3966 )
So if I have GSR brakes in front and the stock 93 CX brakes in the rear, do I still need 1.5"?
Anyone else have any experience with Zenki lug nuts?

Re: Zenki forged lug nuts? (SonicGSR)
We have received the same lugnuts labeled APprojectz, however the same lugnuts came in this time labeled Zenki. Here are some very blurry pictures.

Me and sonicgsr just picked up some sets ourselves from Zenki lugs. We have yet to install them, but they are SUPER light, and the finish appears to be very durable.
I will have a review of the lugs this weekend

Payn has them for $50 for the 4-lug vehicles (16 nuts), or $55 for the 5-lug(20 nuts).
I believe they have them in stock! No need to wait for what could be a long, drawn out group buy.
Your welcome Matt!

Yeah, call up the guys at Payn, or at http://www.gtpro.com.
Brian at GTPro sold sonicgsr a set of 16 for $48 (picked up of course).
The lugs are great, I have been using them for the past three days, and no complaints so far.
Here's a quick picture I snapped right after the install...

Is it just me or do your wheels studs look a little on the short side?

No it is not just you! I have no idea why they appear so small. Those are GSR brakes and studs. I am looking into some extended wheel studs.

Re: Zenki forged lug nuts? (93SSPHatch)
Ok, here's what I found out. Kyokugen's are made from chrome vanadium (same material as factory lugs). what makes them lighter is that so much metal has been shaved off.
My brother has a set of Rays lugs. we found out that it's painted so the paint chipped off.
The Zenki lugs are anodized so even if you scratch the lug, the color is still there. a lot more durable.
Ohh.. check this. although the Kyokugen are much smaller than the zenki, the zenki lugs are still lighter!!

Something else I like about them....
The heaviest part of the kit is the key...you can use a regular 19mm, but the key is really nice, also. This thing is never gunna strip...

Black huh, sonicgsr just picked up a set of black lugs last Thursday. The owner at GTPro told me that they sell these lugs like hotcakes.
Definitely worth the wait to get a set!

bringing this thread back from the dead..
You can use a 19mm socket to take off the lug nuts without the key?? If so I'm not gonna order these anymore
