Sorry for the n00b question.. searched and couldn't come up with anything regarding "zc"
Can I use a ZC oil pan on a y7 block or will the bolts not line up correctly? Thanks in advance..

I doubt it.
The d16ys are oddballs as F*, as compared to older d16's. It might be hard to find the answer try posting in FI as well, they do more hybrid oil pan stuff.
Do you have the y7 and ZC oil pump? if you do, you can check if the oil pan studs on those are the same.
(Even if it fits, it doesn't mean that it will work, but if the studs is different, then you know it won't fit.)

Re: ZC oil pan on a y7 (Br1anPham)
thanks for the info
I don't really have access to the zc oil pan (or the pump), just seeing if it's worth my time to drive out and get the pan

it would most likely fit but...
you would need the zc oil pick-up
you may have a problem with the dipstick location in relation to the oil pan.

I just have an easily accessible, cheap ZC oil pan readily available if I want.. Just thought I might pick up an extra in case I happen to want to maybe possibly want to tap my oil pan for something
