ZC injector question
I have rebuilt a new ZC motor & am putting it in a 91 Civic SI HB.
any idea what electronics make the fuel injectors work ?
and how I can test ?
I replaced the distributor- brand new- good spark now.
Motor will run with ether sprayed into air cleaner, but not getting any fuel thru injectors.
(ether going in thru intake valves keeps it running.)
Plugs are dry...
and I have plenty of fuel volume & pressure in fuel rail. PLENTY.
And I have electric signal at injector. Solid- not pulsing. Using test light.
I tried putting the old SI injectors in (which worked on car before)- no difference.
also tried 2 ECU's- original (PM6 from SI ) & a used PM7 that I bought- supposed to work
better with the ZC motor.
stumped again- any ideas ?? Many thanks !

Re: ZC injector question (SloCivicHMM)
Thanks for trying...
I think it is possibly the wiring harness modification I made.
My instructions were not very good....
Anyone possibly have better wiring info on changing the round Honda
plug (at distributor) to the rectangular Acura plug ?
or the other way- I ended up keeping the round SI connector since
I didn't have female rect. plug.
