Default ZC engine & S20 trans

I have a 1.6L SOHC VTEK ZC engine and an S20 trans. I'm replacing a stage 3 clutch with a stage 2. My problem is no clutch when the engine is running. There seems to be a lot of travel on the throw-out bearing fork and the bearing barely contacts the pressure plate at the end of the travel. Does this configuration require a special bearing. I have had this trans out and in 3 times in the last week and everything is installed perfectly.

Maybe the fork is bent. Can you post a picture?

I won't have the trans back out for a couple of days. The company that sold me this clutch kit is giving me NO service after the sale. They seem to know less than I do and I'm brand new to Honda's. I mainly need to know the difference in the throw-out bearing spacing between the S20 and S40 trans.
