ZC DOHC In A 92 Civic DX??? Would It Work???
I Have A 92 Civic DX and Im Lookin At A ZC DOHC For $845. I Need To Know If It Would Bolt Right Up To The Stock Motor Mounts??? If Not... Whats Good Engine To Drop In For A Low Price and Where Can I Get It? I Could Get A B18b1 For $745 w/o The Tranny. Would The B18 Bolt Up To My D15 Tranny Or Would I Have To Buy A New One To Run It????

I'd get the b18b
and yes you'd need to get a B series tranny
try getting the LS tranny, if not, go with the SiR's

b18b you'll need axles, mounts, shift linkage, ecu..
i'd just get a jdm d15b vtec and then go from there... (you can use your stock trans/axles/mounts)

Re: ZC DOHC In A 92 Civic DX??? Would It Work??? (BauleyCivic)
True... but now i found a ZC SOHC Vtec its a 1.5 Vtec, is it the same motor we are talkin about... its only $650 with tranny.. but i have the D15b7 tranny. and what all could i do to it???? Performance Wise???? thats what im lookin at that why i was gonna go with DOHC and turbo but the only thing i can find for a SOHC 1.5 is a Jackson Racing Supercharger thats listed at $2300.... and with all that money i could just buy an H22a... lol i know they will bolt right up.. problem is i dont have $2300 to just blow... lol
BUDGET is my thing here... the ZC SOHC Vtec is only $650 and the ZC DOHC is $845 both priced with Tranny...
What Should I Do???
Oh Yeah.. The B18b1 is listed at $745 w/o tranny.. u know where i could get a B-series tranny for VERY VERY cheap???
and are there alot of aftermarket parts available for the 1.5 Vtec????

I have a ZC SOHC in my 94' Civic hatch. I also added a d16z6 vtec head. You can get alot of performance parts that will bolt right on such as headers, cams, underdrive pulley...
