ZC cam help

ZC cam help
I've got a 93 del sol si with a jdm dohc zc swap. This is my first zc (in all reality this is really the first honda I've owned that came with d in it and I'm not just yanking it out to throw a b in) I purchased the car with the swap already half done. And as I'm going through and finishing the swap up I noticed there is a small chunk missing out of one of my cam lobes. I've already discovered zc parts can be a pain in the *** to find, but I can't seem to find a set of stock cams to save my life. A friend of mine told me I could use y7 cams but not sure if this info is accurate. Anyone got some info that'll help me out?

Re: ZC cam help
I believe the best option you're gonna get would be the D16A1 from the 86-89 teggy. I just recently acquired a ZC myself.. SOHC non-vtec, BUT.. It had a Y7 head on it. Didn't have the ZC head. It had internals that were found in the vtec block (P2C pistons), so I assume they slapped on the Y7 head and had it running as a non-vtec setup. Anywho..
stock PM7 DOHC ZC camshafts
Intake:
duration @ 0.050" lift = 213 degrees
gross lift = .406"
lobe separation = 110 degrees
lobe centerline = 105 degrees
Exhaust:
duration @ 0.050" = 217 degrees
gross lift = .406"
lobe separation = 110 degrees
lobe centerline = 115 degrees
Hopefully, this will help ya. The A6 may be a reasonable replacement, but the ZC is reported to be more aggressive.

Re: ZC cam help
Thanks for the help. I appreciate it. Mine is a fully stock dohc zc and i kinda want to keeo it that way if at all possible. I think I'm gonna keep searching for zc cams but I have a feeling that's gonna be a lost cause.

Re: ZC cam help
Best of luck to you! Absolute sheer luck I found the engine I did. I searched for about 12 solid hours when I got it, just trying to find info. Anywho.. I would recommend possibly looking into importer sites like hmotorsonline to possibly source any parts relating to the head.
