i've searched and have become confused. seems like everything says how to use y8 head and intake on a d16z6 but can you use just the y8 head and reuse the z6 intake? i know i would need a y8 dizzy housing and swap internals and do i need to swap cam gears or entire cam with gear? back to intake i see two round ports on the y8 head, one coolant other, egr?? the coolant port is also round on the y8 and sorta square on the z6 but looks like it will seal with z6 gasket? is this correct?also which gaskets will i need ,z6 or y8?
so in summary:
i have a warped d16z6 engine (i know just head warped)
have a good y8 head only no manifolds or dizzy
have a gasket set for a z6 (intake, head, exhaust, valve cover, tube seals)
will this work or should i just get another z6 head?
this is my sons daily driver and i'm not trying to do anything other than get it back on the road. i have tried searching but maybe i'm looking in the wrong places.

y8 will fit, all sensors will plug up, reuse your old dizzy, old intake, it all bolts up. dont swap any internals. use a y8 headgasket.

but the old dizzy bolts won't match up, i tried a test fit on that. and the cam and/or gear?

they arent going to line up, u will just have to be 1 scew less
