z6 VS y8

would it be worth my time to get a port/polished d16z6 head on my d16y8 block?

just wondering before i buy

Your compression will go down if you put a Z6 head on a Y8 block. As a matter of fact, you will benefit more from your port & polish job if you complement it with a rise in compression. You might be bound to get the opposite result if you use the Z6. Prioritize the compression as well.
