ive searched but couldnt come up with what fuel pressure a stock d16z6 should have, at idle now it is 30psi, and jumps to 40psi with a jolt of the throttle. Does this sound like a good pressure? I am bringing this up because i am getting a code 43 for fuel system supply and am trying to narrow it down...

any input or ideas would be great

d-series is 28-36, at idle. your pressur seems fine. i know you said it's stock but have you messed with anything lately.

nawh havent messed with anything. it idles rough sometime and doesnt get great gas mileage and smokes, its way overdue for a rebuild. i even took out my injectors to inspect yesterday and they were soaked in oil it looked like. How does oil get into the intake? intake valves not seating? its had a bunch of head work done by DPR in cali but that was 7 years ago, and it hasnt been babied before i got it.
