z6 in a 96 honda civic
oka my friend blew up his y7 the other day and is buying my d16z6 off me. now what ALL does he need to make this swap successful? like does the z6 engine harness connect right this his obd2 harness in the engine bay? or what does he have to get? i know we need the ecu obd2a to obd1 harness conversion and maybe the dizzy conversion as well but what else is needed? please we need so advice

First off is he going to convert to OBD1? If so it might make his life a bit easier wiring wise. If so then he'll need to wire up a few things: VTEC solenoid, VTEC pressure switch, IAT into intake arm, wire the IACV from 3 to 2 wire, use the Z6 injectors by removing the blue plastic piece inside the injector plug clips, reuse the Y7 alternator, either use a distributor adapter or rewire it.

i just did the same swap.he didnts need 2 do any wireing just get a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness and get the harness for the dizzy and switch injecters or just change the whole intake thats what i did.charge the alternater and side top mount.i used my p28 it let my rpms run 2 8000 after i did everything.everbody say rewire i didnt rewire anything believe it run strong as ever now

So I bought a 97 lx that has this swap done, but the iacv is still the three wire connector. Would that be why it's running so rich and when your stopped the idle goes up and down
