Your opinions/experience with eBays fog lights for 92-95 Civics...
Sup fellow members. So, Ive got a nice little family of Civic's at the moment, my project car (a 94 hatch,) my winter beater/daily driver (another 94 hatch,) and a 93 coupe (daily driver/possible second project car.) Last year I bought some OEM Fog's from passwordJDM for my project car, and I love them. Good quality, great lighting enhancement, etc. I want to get that same kind of lighting enhancement for my winter beater, but I dont want to drop $130+ on fog's for a car that I dont really care too much about. I was wondering how anyone has made out with the cheapies on eBay. How well they fit, how well they produce light, how good the wiring is, and the overall quality of the eBay kits as a whole. If you have had a set, let me know what you think/thought about them. Should I get the cheapies being that its just my winter beater, or would I be better off going to autozone and getting a set of Pilot fogs and just slap them on the bumper somewhere? Thanks in advance!

i have the ebay foglights on my 95 civic... first thing that happened is the fuseholder melted within the first 2 weeks, melted the wire the fuse and everything i had to cut it and splice a new one in...
then the relay took a **** and started sparking on me but it cut the fuse.. i replaced the relay with an autozone relay and it works just fine now
u get what u pay 4

Re: (B16B_coupe)
So, would I be better off just getting some pilot fog's from autozone in terms of reliability and not having to replace relays, etc?

Re: (daluv)
I havnt had to replace my relay at all yet, the only thing I had to replace was a bulb.
P.S do what you want man, if you want the look go for the ebay fogs, if you just want cheap fogs get pilots...

Has anybody bought their fogs from weaksauce.org?

For those of you with fogs, has your night visibility improved noticeably?
Im not concerned about aesthetics, just looking to improve the light output on my fiance's civic.

there was noticable difference in lighting when i compared my oem fogs to other jdm "style" amber fogs.

depot lights aren't that bad. I had some and sold them to a friend and the still work. It's been a year or more now.
