You have $12k to build a civic, what do you do?
I was thinking about this based on another post.
I figure there are two ways to go with a car, either drag or roadracing/auto-x. Well, there is show, but I figure that most of us actually use our cars
EG, EK, it doesn't matter. All prices have to be market, and the 12k has to include the purchase of the car.
Have fun and be realistic.

This is what I'd do. Find a high milage white EK. Slap an jdm h22a, zeal suspension, bolt-ons, ctr spoiler, and some old school mugen wheels, the 14" man hole cover look-a-like wheels. If I had some left over I'd get itr interior... But then agian I wouldn't drive this on a track, well drag a few times...
If I was going to build a straight track car, the list would be pretty long, I'm going to have to think about this...

Unfortunately I forgot to mention that I'm the deal king. I'll give you guys quick rundown of all of my stuff - 100% LEGIT though!
Totalled entire 1998 USDM ITR with title - $4,000.00. Sold out the 5-lug and other useless **** and basucally had less than $3,000.00 in the B18C5 swap
1992 Civic CX with B16A (first-gen) and $1,200.00 HalTech E6K - $2,500.00. After selling off the ECU and parting the swap out with HASport mounts I had $300.00 in the entire rolling chassis!
Paint and body - $3,147.00 - I didn't flake out on that ****.
Integra GS-R Type D black seats - FREE. Friend who runs a salvage yard felt compelled to give them to me.
Koni Yellows and Eibach custom 425F 550R springs - $640.00 - bargain shoping at it's best! Brand new too!
Rota C8 with Azenis - $600.00 brand new
That's the bulk of the important ****.

Re: You have $12k to build a civic, what do you do? (B18C5-EH2)
You forgot to add the $5 bucks you spent on that unusual green paint on your valve cover.
Seriously. 92-95 hatchback...B series motor of your choice...All motor madness...The rest is up to you. The main ingredients must remain the same though.
You'll never find a worthy 96+ hatchback that won't absorb your budget. And the obnoxious ammount of parts available for the 92-95 chassis.
Or you could build the Jaeone dream show car. (I know he wants one)
