for you guys who has done rear brake conversions
soon i am about to do my rear brake swap. my worry is on the trailing are and compensator arm. my bolts are alittle rusty and i am afraid that if i start working on them that the head of the bolt will break, just like my rear shock/LCA bolt broke.
is this a common thing? any ideas that i should try to prevent this from happening?
has this ever happen to anybody out there? what was done to correct the problem?

Yeah, treat the bolts with some serious amounts of penetrating oil for a decent amount of time, and then cross your fingers. Rust is gnarly. If you want to get them out and not have to deal with the nail-biting subject anymore, get some replacements, and once they're out, put the new ones in.

must be nice. my lower control arm bolts were siezed in the bushings, so i had to replace both. also the compensating arm bolts can be fun removing if they are siezed up. good luck.

penatrating oil a few times soak and drive soak and drive. I had problems with my rear toe adjuster bolts. The bolt came out of the nut but was siezed in the bushing. so I had to cut both sides of the bolt off and just replaced the toe link with the adjustable spc link both toe and camber nice parts

If my back rear LCA bolts are seized up does that mean i have to get new bushings and break the bolt
