You guys with HX rims
Hey guys, just finished off my Azenis and am looking to get new tires. I don't like how loud the Azenis are *mostly daily driver with very little track time* and still want a more high performance tire than stock. Anybody know of any decent *quiet* tires in a 14 inch??? Thanks!

you can always try yokohama avs es100. i have a set in 15's and they're very quiet and very sticky for my daily driving.

But do they make them in a 14??? That seems to be my major problem with my HXs right now. It seems that very few performance tires come in 14s. Imagine that...a high performance tire on a lighweight rim

Re: You guys with HX rims (EG TYPE-R)
I'm running HX's with AVS ES100's - 195/60/R14 to be exact. I'd say your two best choices for tires on the 14" 5.5" wide HX wheel are the Azenis and the Yok's. The Azenis grip like hell and have nice stiff sidewalls, but they wear out pretty quickly. The Yokohama's have a much better tread life with some reduced traction, and they feel a little "mushier" to me because they don't seem to have the stiffness in the sidewall that the azenis do (pretty important IMO on a 60 series tire), but they still have plenty of grip for aggressive street and track driving.
